Two weaknesses in my book. JWH the most over rated hard man in the comp, and FPN the most over rated back rower, id put Conn and Symonds in before them every day

JWH needs to lift (and I think he can) or Conn could quickly rise above him in the pecking order.
FPN's advantage over Symonds is his ability to perform in our lock/prop rotation or second-row as needed. Symonds is purely a second-rower who can cover at centre (and five-eighth at a pinch). The latter skills aren't very useful when Maubs and Anasta provide the same options. Imho Symonds is going to have to wait for injuries, or put up such a strong case for selection that he forces Maubs into the centres.

I think we've got to be a bit patient with him ( even though his alleged price tag is a bit high )

I see where you're coming from Roosdaman. JWH can talk the talk but I would like to hear him do less, or preferably none of that and more actual walking the walk. FPN is a bit of a tricky one for mine as he doesn't have the size to be a prop or the work rate to be a lock. That's the thing with both of these players - their work rate is low and when you couple that with other low work rate forwards (MAubs and Anasta) you're leaving two of your forwards (out of Jake, Ryles and Myles) to do the "dirty work" when all of the above players are on the field at the same time. THAT is a problem and one I believe the Roosters suffered with last year."The price of freedom is eternal vigilance."

With Anasta and Aubusson as 80 minute fringe running backrowers, Myles and Nuuausala can rotate that lock-forward position depending on the game situation. Nuuausala is a Tupou-style player - if he is on, play him for extended minutes and shift Myles into the front row rotation, if he has a quiet one then it isn't the end of the world. His best asset is the impact that he hits the line, and his offload.
In my honest opinion, Nuuausala, Hargreaves and Masoe would make a very high impact and devastating bench, after Myles, Ryles and Kennedy do the starting hard work. Later on in the year, it will be even better when Watts returns:
- first 25 minutes
Ryles
Friend
Kennedy
Anasta
Aubusson
Myles
- after interchanges
Masoe
Watts
Hargreaves
Anasta
Aubusson
Nuuausala
The team changes from a powerful, grafting, hard working pack to a high impact steam train.
