Just a plug...

For those of you who don't normally take out memberships because you are a member of the SFS (or, like me, often get tickets to the members' stand), the new "Community Membership" is quite good value. For $34.95 (on line), you get a very nice cap and scarf, plus stickers etc and that warm inner glow that membership bestows.

true but for an extra $60 you get tickets to 11 games and have the option to sit in either and i must admit sometimes there is no atmosphere up in the members stand.

There was plenty of atmosphere on the night of the Roosters v Tigers semi, let me tell you! The Roosters fans up there were delirious with joy.

I was just pointing out that there are people who are SFS members who don't need or want tickets, but would still like to be members.

i agree i was there that night as im an sfs member. That game had the best atmosphere all season (even better than the titans quater final at suncorp). i was more referring to the games when 20000 are spread across the stadium and its an average game. I did the red white blue membership last year and used the free tickets for the rabbits and tigers sunday arvo games early in the season and enjoyed the different perspective and atmosphere that general seating provided. i guess you were pointing out the value in becoming a non ticketed member for sfs members where i was pointing out the value in becoming a ticketed member for sfs members. either way we should both join the sales team for the roosters next season. :-)

Does SFS membership give you access to finals tickets?
I got a ticketed membership because I'm hoping we'll make the GF this season

Ism, from what i understand, SFS membership provides you with entry and a seat to any event held at the SFS, including any finals matches as per conditions of the SFS membership.

Club members get priority ticketing for the NRL Grandfinal (tickets normally on sale in June), i don't think SFS members are included in this unless there is an agreement made between the SCG/SFS trust and ANZ Stadium for seats at ANZ for the final.
