Check out our old away strip.
Even though this was our first year under the name Sydney City, we still wore the Eastern Suburbs logo on our chest.

No Headless Chook is right, this was mad dogs debut with us.
He saved 3 tries for us when he came on by holding the player up each time. I can make a short clip of them if you like?
      Hes got long blond hair

          Damn Walker was good ay!!!
Sad what happened to him... especially when guys like Dell were able to come back as champs with all their sins forgotten.

Shouldn't have gone to union... his first game was a flop (he was subbed on in the last 15 or so during which time he missed a conversion, kicked a ball straight into an easy Jonah Lomu try then failed to kick the ball 10m during the kick-off... there were 2 points in the game or something and we lost.) I blame the rugby union stooges as well as Manly for not looking after him properly. These days I reckon there would be a lot more support for him!

Of note I heard Walker runs a mowing business now! I'll have to dig up the article... good summary of his life. Wish him all the best!

You could sell tabouli to the eskimos !

A better Walker we could have not asked more from.

He kept Freddie honest in the early days, and kept him at lock.

              I forget...Johnny Simons was our first string 5/8 in 1995 ?

No Walker was our 5/8 in 95. Simon didnt come in till 1996 and couldnt get a look in coz Lammy was playing just too damn good.

Yeah, Simon didn't play many games for us at all if i remember correctly?

Lam was a gun at his best, but i have to agree with everyone here, if Andrew Walkabout pulled his finger out he could have been anything.....Farrk he made it look easy sometimes!
One of the biggest kickers of the football i've ever seen and didn't look to put much effort into it either!
One of my all time favourites!
