I was a boxing fan for decades but with all rorts in the sport, who can blame people to prefer UFC. Here is the biggest rort in Australia.

Well australian Boxing is struggling, but world boxing is not bad, UFC is packaged a lot like a WWE event, a Bunch of Before shows the 2 guys swearing and saying how much they are gonna "%&$! the other guy up", then they show a bunch on KOs with effects and music. of course its going to get attention.

as an event they do a very good job in promoting it, But for me i do not like the style of fighting, and what i really look down on is the way they hit a guy who is KOed another 3-4 times... then jump around like crazy.

Nothing against the sport but its just not my style i suppose, id much rather watch Manny Pacquiao fight a 12 round fight and box a guy (maybe KO him) rather then a UFC fighter go 2 rounds and ko a guy with and elbow or a knee then pound his head in while his on the floor.


but as i said , 2 different sports.

Boxing world wide is a sham at the moment! thanks to Mundine in oz and Don King trying to squeeze every dollar out of it!!!!! Grass Roots Boxing is the best but it ain,t televised and there ain,t any money in it, all you need is a name and a wanker to promote you, pick some easy fights and you,ll make some money!!!!!!!!!!!
