Mind you by the time the whistle is blown to start round 1 that pity will have evaporated (it always does each year).
Your mother wasn't a Vermin supporter was she. It's OK, I will admit that both my parents are/were Vermin supporters (they arrived in the country as immigrants during the Vermin glory years). But the greater powers set the world right by having them produce two Rooster supporting daughters.

And in typical Vermin supporter style, my mother turned her back on them after one too many bad years and supported Canberra and the Broncs instead, as they were the winning teams at the time.

Never one to tolerate losing my mother. May she rest in peace.

No my Mum isn't into sports and my Dad supports the Roosters (probably because I do).

On a side issue, I heard again that the Panthers willl now be playing at Centrebet Oval (or whatever it is now called). It got me thinking and maybe Centrelink can sponsor Redfern Oval. It can be called Centrelink Oval. Their supporters will flock there in droves.

Will there be separate seating for urns, will leashes be necessary for entry ?

Well since most of them are feral, yes. Same goes for their pets.
