  • 3 years for Kennedy.

    http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/spo...-1225998332215

THE Roosters have re-signed promising prop Martin Kennedy for another three years. The club have big raps on the front-row forward and see him as a future leader of their pack. We are told Kennedy has brains to match his brawn and is completing a university degree.

Who know's, we certainly talked about him and his future on here, although I can't remember reading if he was doing a uni degree?

I hope the club still has a big announcement about him re-signing, he is the genuine cornerstone front rower we are looking for. I reckon if you asked him who was his footy hero was it'd Shane Webke. He is a Webke clone.

          Chook.

This is old news. The good old Tele showing us they've still got it!

Webcke clone? Apart from pulling similar grimacing facials they don't have much in common.

Webcke was one of the greatest props ever to lace up a boot, Kennedy is yet to pull on a starting roosters jersey. Webcke is 6'0" and played around 105kg. Kennedy is 6'3" and 120kg before breakfast.

He has shown some promise but let's see how he go's this season before comparing him to one of the greats.

"Three years for Kennedy" -- sounds like a jail term.
