What a suck this bloke is.
This is the sort of weak journalism that the tele is famous for.

None of us want to take a cricket bat to Brian smith.
He has done a great job.

But when it comes to certain issues he has a certain modus Operandi
Get rid of senior players with influence.
Create Smith disciples who eventually rebel against the evangelism
finish second or in the semis a couple of times and then move o to some other basket case of a club

All Braith is doing is to ensure he wont be left on the shelf. Especially if he gets injured. Your value halves.
    barbarian ......arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!!!!!!!

I have a pool crawler and it sucks up all the dead leaves, bird poop, insects and other crap that accumulates at the bottom of my pool.

I suspect that the person from the Rag does pretty much the same job.

And yes, I am calling him a bottom feeder.

I like the way the club has handled it. After last season - Anasta's value would be pretty decent. The club will use this season to see if he can continue that form in the 2nd row as well as scouting out viable younger alternatives. His value can only go down after last seasons heroics.

It sounds rather brutal but isn't that how a professional business is run ?

Anasta knows that his value is at its highest now....hence wanting to negotiate a new deal before the start of the season. I can't blame him for that. I also can't blame the club for holding off on negotiations to tie up other players and hopefully get Braith at a reduced rate.

Like Freddy said - the best thing Anasta can do is get out on the paddock and carve them up to ensure he gets the best possible deal.
