  • Round 6 v Broncos is in Gosford

check the draw. ffs I thought we were done with this rubbish.

On a side note, presumably due to Good Friday being on the same weekend as ANZAC Day, we aren't playing the Broncos on Good Friday. I assume we'll be playing the Dragons on ANZAC Day/Easter Monday which fall on the same day.

I hate it up there but I'll still end up going, I know it.

Shame, always up there in terms of atmosphere with Anzac day & Round 1.

Not sure which matches you've been to, but the Roo v Bro matches aren't even close to the atmosphere generated by the other 2 matches

Your Assumption is correct. The Anzac Day match is a bigger drawcard (and possibly a sell out this year) so they stuck with that match rather than Good friday with brisbane.

Yes so true, i do remember the Monday night game against the Broncs which was back in 1996 had a fantastic atmosphere but the Good Friday games against the Broncs especially the more recent ones have been very dull atmosphere wise.I will be heading up to Gosford for this one, they should get the ground capacity for this game.

its interesting that i think they put a 'high-quality' game at gosford rather than e.g. easts v newc. (sorry knightsfan94, its not been a high quality clash for a few years) or melb or townsville.

and of course the grand final rematch between two long standing sydney teams is gonna get more people, and have better atmosphere, at the game than easts v bne.

Sorry to disappoint that this is great news. I live in Tumbi so I will relish this one. A good quality game...like it...
