From what I've seen from Cherro I'm super excited to watch him play this year... bursts through holes in the defense... has a good offload on him.. tall... strong ... fast for his size.. a genuine handful for defence and from the improvements we saw in players in 2010 I can't wait to watch him play in 2011

Don't get me wrong I do hope he goes as well as a lot of people talk him up, he is a local junior if I remember and I love it when they kick on.

I thought he went OK in the foundation cup and I hope we get to see him get some NRL opportunities and he does well but he aint done nothing yet.,
Couldn't agree more KB. The bloke last played a decent game for the Chooks in 08, was pretty shyte in 09 returning from injury and did sweet FA in 2010, again due to injury.

I too hope he can repay the faith plenty of Chooks fans have shown in the bloke, but I'm not holding my breath waiting for it to happen.

Only time will tell I suppose. Plenty of players never reach their potential due to injuries and other factors, Cherrington may well be one of them.

Sometimes natural talent just isn't enough.

Don't get me wrong, I would hate for him to be nothing more than a myth due to injury but whats he done, nothing
I remember him carving Manly at the SFS in 2008.

In 2009 he suffered Fittler rot like the rest of the squad.

By all reports he was on fire in the trials in 2010 until his season ending knee injury.

I'm tipping a big year for Cherrington.

Cause he hasn't been seen for a year, people forget how big he is.

Cherro running off either Anastabator on the blind, or PearceOffJackGibbsOn via 2nd receiver should provide us lots of options.

Cherro is potentially Mason (scary for so many reasons) when he was young with better ball skills and a penchant for bludging on the blind in defense.

If fit he will be hard to keep out but I think Brian Smith will stick with the bulk of the 2010 team first up.. I could not find a space for FPN either as I like Masoe's size and Conn's no frills work rate but with injuries bound to happen, guys like Frank will get lots of game time.

With our current injuries J C wiil have a good chance at starting in 2011.

                            What are our "current" injuries?

Linnet; will wait until early january to start training.Leilua; is back at full training after a left foot fracture.CARNEY;ribs?fell of a balconey.Anasta hamstring tear at training. Aubbuson recovering from shoulder surgery.
Graham;after surgery on torn pack muscle will return to proper training in the new year. If all goes well they might be back to full fitness .if there not i doubt smith will risk reinjury and a prolonged recovery during the early season.
