...it allowed the Dragons to 'rort' the salary cap by signing Gasnier for peanuts, really sending the Dragons soaring over the salary cap by hundreds of thousands of dollars...and winning the premiership by doing it!

That's another joke about their Grand Final win.

Even after the nitpickers have said "nah man ____ is on less" the figures go well over the salary cap.

FPN, Perrett, JWH and SKD are all young, inexperienced internationals. They would all be on around 200k I'm pretty sure. JWH probably less, but he has been heavily traded (Tahs, Storm, Manly -> Roosters) so I'm pretty sure he would be on big dollars for a guy with his kind of experience.

Nightingale is an experienced international who scores a lot of tries... I don't think he would play for less than 250. I know it sounds a lot compared to our incomes (unless you are Ibrahim, Borus, Nick or Turnbull) but footy players make that much! Especially when they are in such demand!
