I knew he made a lot of tackles but 60, that's what you commitment. I am very proud of the way that Jake has conducted himself on and off the field after his return and i really hope it continues not only for our benefit but for Jake as well. He deserves it.

Sitting behind the goalpoasts for one of the first times watching the Roosters tonight, I certainly now appreciate much more the rigors of defending in the ruck. Just to see the likes of M.Weyman and N.Costigan (cat) striding out, flinging themselves at the defensive line, before being met by their opposites really is a sight to behold.

I've always been a massive advocate of one's work rate in determining their overall contribution and I can safely assure that seeing what I saw tonight has further enhanced that viewpoint.

For young Friend to make 60 tonight is inspiring, given his small stature. I'll mention it more in the coming days when I post my player reviews of the season, but this kid is seriously developing.

Spot on, this will be a deadly combo.......our sniping up the middle of the park should improve tenfold, we still have a tendency to go far too lateral - Watts should straighten us up quite a bit.

60 officially, it was closer to 80 imo

he was our shining light ans wasnt it great to see our other tireless hooker bonetti there as well
