I have had a few vodka & cokes and calmed.

I was thinking about Smithy and how this must hurt him But to his credit I think Smithy evolved and showed us more of himself.

The conference is up and I know the links are on another thread. During the conference he was very gracious, despite the underlying disappointment.

Re the poor reffing he made the comment that we probably had decisions go our way over the last weeks so the ledger is maybe balanced.

You did a great job Smithy, despite the many knockers and in the face of a huge challenge. This is a new side with so much promise I hope that elusive premiership comes your way and I hope is with Easts.

As others have said here, Smithy has worked wonders with essentially a side of kids.

I am just sparing him a thought because all I did was watch the game, he has spent who knows how many hours preparing for today as well as engineering some great wins for us this season.

Agree and I suppose for selfish reasons as well.

In the end we have a good foundation that he has created to build on. He has turned ordinary players into very good players. We have much to thank Brian for.

Yeah, but I think we use this as a launching pad for 2011 and these young guys have not got some expeience and should be much better for it.
