llOriginally posted by Lauren View PostCongratulations to you. If your friend was a true Rooster fan, they'd do whatever they can to organise alternate accommodation. There's offers here from fellow Roosters fans who are more than welcome to help out.

I am a Rooster Fan and my son plays for the Rooster U18 team and is coming to live and play 20s nxt year. Sorry to upset you and any other people.
Just a word of warning for the future... although many of us have our disagreements on here from time to time. One thing we do as fans is stick up for each other, especially when our support is questioned.
Good luck to your son next season.

Guys, go easy.
Sure, the "true Rooster" fan comment from HeNZ might not have been the best thing to say, but some people are out to do good.
I thought I was going to miss out seeing us thump St. Filth in a Grand Final, but thankfully a nice bloke, who had never posted on here before, but was a Chooks supporter, offered his spare tickets in one of his first posts, and I now have 2 tickets for a good price in good seats.
It's easy to be cynical. Sometimes - not always - people are actually trying to be nice.
