As a Swans supporter (as well as a passionate roosters supporter) i just wanted to say that we do well here. It's a niche market, but we have strong group of core supporters who are as die-hard as they come. TV ratings are admittedly poor, but the AFL is best watched live.

Gary Jnr moving to GC is big sport news, not just AFL news. He's the best player in the game and now is the highest payed player as well. I don't have fox, but generally AFL isn't excessively covered across FTA news shows in Sydney. The Swans barely get a mention in the papers or in day to day tv coverage so I wouldn't be whinging.

any channel any time of the day always show more afl than nrl. Unless an NRL player has been on the piss and done something stupid!

In Sydney 9 show more NRL than AFL on the news.
The other networks are Gayfl.
Dont know about fox dont watch it.
