  • Roosters/Dragons split at ANZ

Just a thread to try and guesstimate the split of fans at ANZ in terms of Roosters support and Dragons support.

    Something like:

    Roosters - 35 000
    Dragons - 35 000
    Neutrals - 10 000

    ??

    40,000 Dragons
    25,998 Neutral
    2 Roosters

I think only the Roosters members will turn up for this one

I think the dragons will have more - but that will also depend on the 'neutrals' as they more often than not pick a side for the day

The arrogance of the stmerge fans has had the same effect on many Souths fans as well.

I know I'm rooting for The Roosters.
              lol@stmerge, 1 premiership and a claytons!!!!

Yeah it's difficult to tell because the supporters of other teams/neutrals are likely to wear Saints or Roosters colours.

But in terms of actual supporters rather than just support on the day, I think it will be about 15,000 Roosters, 25,000 Saints and 40,000 neutrals. The reason for so many neutrals is that 66,000 tickets were sold by finals week 2, which is a lot of clubs supporters taking a slice of the pie, and I think the majority of these people will still be going (and fall into the neutrals category).

There are plenty of neutrals who will be on the Roosters I suspect.

dragons will outnumber us by at least 2 to 1 i suspect.. but as Tom has suggested, we probably have greater 'neutral support'

I don't care if we're outnumbered so long as we're winning and making noise.
