Todd Carney, he's there all the time ready for the ball and he sparks the others into gear.

Although Brian has had an amazing impact on the club in general, Carney has helped the team and has taken the pressure off Pearce, so now he is free to work his magic without everyone always looking for him to come up with the goods.

Smith has done a tremendous job in raising the general professionalism of the club, improving the performances of individual players, etc. But I think without Carney, the club could never have made the GF. Carney is the difference from a credible 6th or 7th finish and this GF appearance.

For that reason I voted Carney.

        Brian Smith for mine.

The coach needs to have a certain level of respect and last year, as much as I love him, Fittler did not have it.

Smith has restored a sense of pride, loyalty and brotherhood at the club and you can see it when the players interact with each other and with the coach.

But Carney has done wonders too.

Smith - for raising the standards of the whole team.

            Smith

Its a different club with or without Carney. Doubt we would have been in the GF without Carney but highly doubt we would have made the finals without Smith

                Smith.

We would of had a good year still without Carney.

Not as good as this obviously, but still probably would of made the 8.

That's not to say Carney isn't important though. He's a massive part of where we are now.

Smith has made rookies look like seasoned veterans. The boys are one big and happy group. Everyone is playing for each other down to the last minute.

Does it really matter? We have both, and then some. Surely Pearce, Friend, Mini, Anasta and the rest of the gang fit into this scenario somewhere along the line.
I saw Carney interviewed about his offer from Bennet and StMerge yesterday. Does anyone really believe Carney would have made the same impact at StMerge without a great halfback, or this awsome backrower Anasta, or Friend who creates gaps and tackles his heart out every week, or the unpredictable Mini running into the line? Would Benny have eased Carney into the side via the fullback position like Smith did, not while Darius was there surely.
Surely the Rooster recipe has brought out the best in Carney and we know that was Smiths recipe but I'm sure it helped that all the right ingredients were there to start with.

We are a Team, no individuals, thats why we are winning.

Ok then, can we remove the Poll because I think it's insulting to both men.

The people that have had the most influence

#1 - Smith I dread to think what the gibberers would have got up to without some discipline.
#2 - Carney the wonder boy
#3 - Anasta - with some help the gibberers have listened and followed the leader.
#4 - Ryles - pull your heads in gibberers the "sausage man" has told you to respect the club
#5 - Sodomite - helped Anasta achieve greatness.
#6 - Soliola - becuase this sponge for the red, has gone. No more kindergarten mistakes in defense, and SKD has returned to his rightful position.
#7 - Panadol - might be stab in the dark but something has helped mini's sniffles and bad back. He has returned to the legendary status he deserves.
#8 Fittler - he isn't around, which speaks volumes, he showed us it could not get worse and more importantly he is reconcilled and genuinely excited that the Chooks are doing well.
#9 - Melon and Rusty - proving they are not bad luck.
#10 - St George - for so many reasons, not taking Carney, for taking Soward, for having such huge egos, for letting Gould cream his pants taking his focus off the Roosters.
For the hate and the distinct lackt of ability to score points
