oh, so you read the telegraph....lol

          poor you!!

They probably wrote about the obvious.
What I am thinking about is far more complex.

Like the fact that Brian Smith prefers Coke, while Wayne is a Pepsi man.
Smiths into picnics, Wayne likes a cold Mars bar.
Smiths like blondes, Wayne likes brunettes.
One has 6 premierships the other has none.

I read the Australian and you read the Tele.........

With the personnel Bennett had at his disposal 6 premierships was an underachievement.

                Some of your best Trew

                however,

Smith has exceeded expectations, Bennett's club expects nothing less than the Trophy
One has had had the best clubs the other has always taken the Basket cases.
One has Soward and the Other has Carney

                    I agree.

All of his sides play the same style every week. He is just lucky that the players utilising his tactics are of a very high standard.

If we have an equal share of possession we will be very hard to contain.

That is the understatement of the millenium. He had whole Origin sides at his disposal, a blank News LTD cheque book. And he still only managed 6.

Bingo...we have a winner...Gibson would have won 10 comps with the sides Bennett had at his disposal...there was no way that side over so many years that was practically the whole Origin side for QLD and half the Australian side was under the cap...the Thouroughbreds group of very wealthy businessmen kept that side together with other pmt methods...they got away with it though...looks like they were lucky they didn't have a snitch in their ranks...

All true and you can add the fact they were the only team in Brisbane with access to a massive nursery and half owned by the half owner of the code.

How could Bennett not be successful?

                            Chook.
