  • Not worried but the drop kick...Sweet.

Ok watching the game last night, I'm not worried from what I saw but Sowards drop kick was sweet. It worries me that if it gets to that, neither of our kickers can compete with that. I might check out my local witch doctor and see if he can make me a Soward doll, a few pins and presto.

I'm yet to see Soward kick a drop goal from 35 out next to the sideline...

He's a liability in every other way, though.

Gee, his game was pedestrian against the Tigers.

The five blockers at the play the ball didn't hurt - and should have been penalised.

Yes that was brought up on the Roast this morning.

Five players all strategically (and conveniently) standing round the play the ball area obstructing the defensive players straight run at Soward.

            They usually penalize sleepers

They also usually penalize knees in the back.

Soward kicked a beauty to win the Flegg Grand Final in 2002.

                You mean in 2004.

If I had a gun to my head and had to pick someone to snap a field goal from anywhere on the park I'd take Braith in a heartbeat.

Anyone remember the Warriors draw in 2007?
It's scientifically impossible for Easts to be in Souths' shadow when there's daylight between them and us.
                  Easts to win

Or the Tigers game a few weeks later.

Yeah, I seem to remember something like that.

                      Or was it this?

Well that was clearly epic. However against Wests in 2007 we went to golden point and won with a Monahagn try, but I do remember Braith taking a massive shot at goal in that game.
