Roosters, Tigers, and Raiders are all very young teams on the up. The Merge won't stand a chance for many years regardless of what happens next week. All the more pressure for them.

      GO ROOSTERS!!!

      Beat those chokers!

It's a given...Braith's mum is having the battle of her life and it's no co-inicidence our mighty captain is playing out of his skin to bring her some joy and happiness in basically 1 hour of a week that is filled with another 167 hours of pain and suffering...she is battling cancer...he spends his days looking after her and looking for answers ringing doctors and trying to help cure her...her only joy is seeing Braith being be succesfull on the field at the moment...make no mistake about this tragedy...it made the papers but not because Braith broadcast it for all to know but I'm glad it is out there now...

He has been much maligned...voted most overated players by jealous peers...ridiculed and mocked by media and football fans...yet he has driven a last placed team in his first year as captain to a GF appearance and possible champions...

His field goal against the Tigers made this GF possible...it was the turning point...we have since rolled the Panthers and then the Titans...Dragons are next...

His Dally M award was earn't and well deserved...the Clive Churchill medal and trophy will only reinforce that...

Can you imagine his darkest moments in all of those years of injuries, false starts and false hopes. Most athletes would have retired. When he came back this year we all wrote him off. I thought he was done. I am so happy to say that he made me admit I was very wrong. Mini's form has been outstanding. People are talking about Carney making the comeback of the year but lets not forget Mini. His return has been truly Lazurus-like. Mini I salute you. Congratulations champion.
This would please me too, but I'm just hoping we win and I don't care who gets the medal. The whole fairytale year will be enough reward for the players and all of us.
