WILL James Aubusson play in the grand final next Sunday?
Channel Nine coverage showed Roosters utility James Aubusson visibly upset and being comforted by family on Friday night after the win over the Titans, but The Sun-Herald understands the hooker hasn't been seriously injured - although he had minor rib pain - and will be available for grand-final selection.
Off-contract and without a club for 2011, Aubusson played the first 21 minutes of the Roosters' 32-6 win in Brisbane but wasn't seen again after being replaced by Jake Friend, one of the Roosters' best this season.
At the 78th minute of the match with the win sewn up, cameras showed the 24-year-old close to tears at the rear of the interchange bench and being hugged by his mother from behind the guard rail.
That, and footage showing Aubusson not taking part in the team victory song, led to a flood of negative comments on the internet. A well-placed source told The Sun-Herald the former Melbourne Storm utility had opted not to join fellow players on the team bus and instead returned to their hotel by taxi.
Aubusson could not be contacted.

I read this story and am a bit concerned. My view is that we need a united front for the GF, no cracks in the side. Jaubs seems to be a crack, and therefore shouldnt be chosen.
He contributed to our win on Friday. Like the rest of the 17 he contributed. If his contribution was 21 minutes, then so be it. If you get to play in a GF and it is for 15 or 20 minutes then that is so much more than many other players ever get.

James did cop and injury, but word from the Doc, he will be fine for next week.

There could be something more, but we have no idea.
