I can see the logic in Mose not being picked. With Maubs, Anasta and Myles all playing a lot of minutes, there isn't really a need for 4 forwards on the bench. Smith won't be pulling his best players off the field just for the sake of it.

I can't see any logic in picking Jones though......

Maybe Smith got spooked by the number of injuries Penrith ended up with last week and wants more flexibility in his options if this happens to us?

Ben Jones isn't all that flexible though.....he's too small to play in the centres at NRL level, so he's a typical half/hooker utility type which Jaubs would do better.

I seriously can't buy this for a second, I'm giving Jones less than 3% chance of actually being in the 17 come Friday night. Masoe/Jaubs or *shudder* Koops will be in.

I think we can get them on the edges, Prince, Rogers and the 2 centres should be peppered all night.....Maubs hasn't had a big game in attack for a while, maybe it's time to unleash him and SKD with some early ball

Surely Brian is just ****ing with the Titans? Ben Jones has been shit in Toyota Cup, imagine him back in first grade. Sure he plays a lot of positions, but he is shit at all of them. IMO we don't need a utility to cover the back line only possibly someone to cover Friendy and if that is the way they go then JAubs would be my pick.

On a positive note BJ is being shown some faith on the wing and no Koups!
