Totally agree HC, but he was never tested under the high ball and that is my only worry with BJ on the wing.

He looked in the air when we went through that 5 game streak. From memory against Canterbury he scored from a kick.

Defending a bomb is vastly different to attacking one...

Easy, BJ to centre, Linnet onto the wing.

mate BJ will step up when Phill goes to Parra..........and after hearing about his shoulder injury, we may well have seen the last of Phill in the tri colours....

I heard on the radio this morning that it looks like the Tigers might pick Phil up with Parra after Anasta now.

the Rooster contracted players playing for Newtown were disgraceful today, none deserve a call up, for me Jaubs should be added to the first grade lineup against the Titans.

With Phil out, the consensus seems to be that Masoe should be in the team but we don't want BJ and Linnet as a combination.

As much as I would hate to move Maubs from the back row, do we move Linnet to the wing with Maubs at centre to at least start the game. Then bring Masoe into the team.

BJ remains on the bench and can come on once the match has settled a little. Just not sure what the other options are, can't be bringing Ford in.

                      Thoughts?

Maubs to the centers takes strike out of our forwards. BJ and Linnet will be fine.

I like the looks of that team. I feel that in the games we lost and almost lost to the Tigers we have desperately need one more big bopper in the side to keep the others fresh.

That lineup would also allow BJ and Maubs to swap positions and share some workload if need be.

Great post, i know Linnett and Leilua will be great in attack but the defence will worry me but it might work out. Tough choice. But moving Maubs to centres just for this game is great becasue it means FPN can play 2nd row finally, and Kennedy has been great so he can start and Moseo on the bench is a beauty.

Either that or just risk it with Leilua and Linnett and have Moseo on the bench for Leilua or Symonds.

Cannot agree about moving Maubs, he likes to float in the middle to help out in defence, can't do that at centre without exposing a side of the field.

The BJ/Linnett combo will be fine - Anasta made 27 tackles last week on that side of the field and Carney can help snuff out any Prince plays down that side.
