Love the go forward off the bench with JWH, Conn and Kennedy. I thought all of them had massive games.

FPN has gone off the boil big time and leaves us short of go forward in the first stages of the game. I would be tempted to start JWH and have FPN on the bench.

I would love to see Masoe in there somewhere but can't see a spot unless BJ goes to the wing for Graham. A bench of FPN, Conn, Masoe and Kennedy is MASSIVE. We could probably get away with it considering Maubs and Anasta are in the starting pack.

I just hope Grahams injury doesn't open the door for Koups!!!

          BUT...

Graham has experience, knowledge, much better positional play in both attack and defense, and showed a clean pair of heels to burn off noted speedster Brad Tighe in the first try setup.

Leilua is more physically apt, but I would still prefer Graham on the wing in a match that counts.

please, pearce burnt tighe off in the same move to score, but at the same time that was the first time ive been happy with phil for months

I can't believe Tighe is playing in the starting line up of the team that came 2nd on the ladder.

            He is f'n hopeless....

Jake Friend. What a difference he makes to our team. Heavily involved tonight. Some good darts. Great defence.

A bit of complacency in this game. They had the Panthers by the balls and instead of securing the win went for the cricket score again.

SKD deserves a kick up the butt for his efforts in the Purtell try. He just stopped chasing and let Purtell run past him which gave the Panthers the extra option on the inside.

                  Friend 41 tackles (1 missed)
                  Myles 27
                  Maubs 24

                  Kingston 36
                  Smith 32
                  Petero 25

His darts out of dummy half were super. He would have got my 2 points tonight.

Player of the match for mine.. His clean up work was outstanding and he was great from dummy half.

Sorry to hijack the thread but this body was just not made to wear any clothes...

Oh yeah and we won... WOO. But we never looked like losing, our defense was so bloody fantastic I spent the last quarter of the game perving. QUEENSLAND BABY!

OMG, his whole kicking set up has me captivated. When he does that 'stare' and and focuses on the goal posts my tummy starts doing flip flops.

Back to the game , I'm glad we won, but we did seem fragile at times in our defensive play. It's a bit of a hard game to gauge how well we really did because the penny panthers were shot from the start.

Our go forward was pretty bad at the start as well, but I like that the backs helped out a lot. SKD should give up on his crab walks, but Sammy and BJ did quite well.

Kennedy was brilliant in his spell too when he ran over a few people and Myles is committed every game whether it is in cover defense or hitting it up. This season has been really good for him and I think his role as a leader in the forwards has made his whole game better.

Mini I'm unsure about. He's really good at times, but then there always seems to be the threat of him making a stupid mistake by overplaying his hand. I don't know if that's just me though.

Overall, it wasn't bad, but it won't be good enough against the titans if that's all we can bring to the table. Next week will be really hard, but nevertheless I'm really proud of the boys this year and it's the best I've felt about them since 2004.

I agree about the go forward. It really concerned me at at times. And yes, the crab running has got to go.

please no, skd had a quiet game but he has been one of the massive positives for the team this year, he can do what he wants in my opinion in attack, always dangerous

and i thought mini was great tonight, their whole year was based on kicks and mini defused everything beautifully

everything else i agree with, except the tummy flutters

I don't mind whatever SKD does in attack, but when we are trying to get out of our own half I wish he would run straighter. His attack is great, but if he's going to take the ball up to help the forwards early in tackle count when we are in our own twenty, he needs to make metres.

Mini I love. He was the player the made me fall in love with league. His diffusion of kicks is brilliant , but sometimes in attack I think he needs to take the tackle instead of passing the miracle ball, though he isn't the only culprit in the team.
