SFS Members - Dress code

Can someone tell me what the actual dress code is to sit in the SFS members ?

Going in there for the first time tonight thanks to a frend of a friend.
It was sort of mentioned you might need a collared shirt.
What about wearing jerseys etc ?

If you want to be certain, I suggest a tuxedo with top hat and spats.

The monocle is optional, but I always wear mine.

Funniest thing was the queue at the Roosters merch van on Driver Ave at the St Merge SCG game. Random blokes trying to buy ANY collared shirt they could.

The guy working there offered the same ladies S sized club polo to at least three desperates while I was in line. The look of mad calculation and resignation when shown said tiny shirt was classic.

In winter or when its cool i wear jeans and my jersey,in the warmer weather jeans and a Roosters polo shirt.

I always bring my roosters jumper for when its gets cold .. Always easier for females to get away with dress codes though

No, do not wear thongs, i've made that mistake myself and had to run all the way up to fox studios and back just to buy a pair of shoes so i could get in, ended up missing the first 30 mins LOL.

Bravo, I say old chap, here here! This board certainly could do with some more of this eminently sensible advice for the Gentleman of Taste, and a hearty old chap such as yourself should be warmly congratulated in bringing to everyone's attention the best way to maintain those certain standards that should be de-rigeur among those of us of Quality.

For myself, I find that one must always remember to bring one's cane to such events also. As well as lending a certain air of distinction to a fellow, one finds it has eminent practical use in case one's man is overwhelmed making a clear path for his Lordship and one needs to take these matters into one's own hands. Especially in encounters with the commoner sort of riff-raff that you find in the crowds when we play these proletarian teams from the outer suburbs.
