I say ONE AT A TIME IS BULLSHIT. It suggests we should only be happy if we win the GF, and miserable if we dont, and thats TOTAL BULLSHIT. Ive enjoyed this season and just hope the boys do their best, It would be great FOR THEM if they do manage to win the whole thing, and great for us fans as well. but to think anything but a GF win is a disappointment is a shitty, sad, pessimistic outlook.

Im sure there will be plenty of so called SUPPORTERS here who will be quick to bag any player who misses a tackle or drops a ball, but you can just feel sorry for those sad fukkers.....they don't know how to enjoy the day.

No it doesnt. It suggests lets not get ahead of ourselves and take each game on its merits. Win the semi, enjoy that. Win the Prelim, enjoy that Win the GF and enjoy that. If we lose we will look at why, and criticise accordingly, and whilst disappointing, at least this year we are a chance so we cant be too unhappy. When you win the spoon, thats when we have every right to flog and kick every one in the club in the nuts.

There's nothing wrong with working, grafting away one at a time, because frankly if we lose this week, we are out so there wont be any GF to enjoy. We must get past this week...thats what its all about. onwards upwards not outwards.

You just dont get it......Im happy with the way the boys have gone this year, and even if we lose this week , Ill still be happy..... I dont need them to win the GF to be happy.

I've enjoyed every win, and been disappointed at the losses, especially against Cronulla, and the Warriors where we were right royally shafted. but when the boys have lost through playing a better team on the day, or just the bounce of the ball not going their way, then so be it.

Ive see them try their best in every game this year, and im proud of them, win or lose, they have worn the jersey with pride.

So instead of ONE AT A TIME, I say.....ENJOY EVERY DAY.

Its just a different way to see it, so you keep waiting for the loss and ill keep enjoying the wins.

I dont this squad is a premiership winning team , be thankful for 2010 being the season it has been.
Our tilt at the title is realistically a year or two away.

this year was always going to be a rebuilding year for us... and my word, they have done us proud... not only have they rebuilded, they have made the top 8, contrary to what most people thought at the beginning of the year.

I know that we have a fantastic group of boys with us (besides koups), but bringing in watts and carney (justin) next year, will give us an even bigger chance next year. to tell u the truth, i couldnt give a rats ass if we didnt win this year. i would rather win next year and/or the year after, just so we can see that our team is improving and getting better.

I agree with your train of thought melon, but in the end, you have to look at where we have come from. be happy where we are, we can be more annoyed next year if we dont do better, thats when we will have every right to.

But were here now and why not try and go all the way. You guys call me a pessimist. I actually think the opportunit is there as long asee don't get ahead of ourselves. Not one other team is a standout or better than ours so why give in now for the sake of having made a turnaround.

If anyone here actually believes I'm waiting for a loss to put the boot in, then you don't know melon too well. Given the chance id like to lay the boot into your pressuming arses.

The Roosters have overachieved in my own estimations but I think that has a lot to do with how wide open the comp is.

I think we are one of only a few teams to beat Melbourne this year. And as those cheating arseholes aren't in the semis, the comp is wide open.

The cry came from 2002. Talking down our chances, keeping a level head. We knew we were in for a shout that year, and so did the team. They'd lose the ball and Fittler would scream "1 minute". Give me 1 minute of solid defense like your lives depended on it. They knew the little steps would lead them to the end result.

Thats all Im saying. Channeling that great period, and that great cry of "1 minute". One at a time, was born from it. The other one when everyone was prematurely doing laps of honour was "We havent won anything yet". This one would come out especially after a massive win.

Its about keeping calm, and doing as best as we can. if you think we cant do better than 6th this year, then you my friend are the one thats wrong. But if things dont go our way, and we are out, then "one at a time" would make even more sense in affirming the whole tone....

I'm sure no one here needs to be reminded of the long list of shameful events - the ****ing spoon, Friend's incidents, that fool Sa going crazy, Myles humiliating himself and lets not forget the last game of the year against the Cowboys. Anyone who says the fix wasn't on is full of shit. That was a ****ing disgrace. However, one year down the track and we are the feelgood story of the year. Carney, Myles and Friend have all redeemed themselves. Coach Smith has changed the culture of the club and it is a very exciting time to be a Roosters supporter. I want us to go all the way and will curse and complain bitterly if/when we lose. However, kept in perspective this has been a fantastic year no matter what happens over the next few weeks.

Again I agree with ALMOST everything, but.......I guess I must be full of shit......because to say the game was fixed is an insult to our club and every player on the field, and I just dont believe it, especially with Fitzy there in his last game............there are plenty of games this year and last year where sides come back from 16 down......are they all fixed??? ............was it fixed for us to beat Manly after being 14 down to come back and win by 16.....???
