Congrats Todd! Great news to wake up to this morning to see you had won the Daly M
Don't be afraid to step out in the rain. Take a chance. Sometimes the only way to get your rainbow is by getting wet.

It's a big call I'm gonna make, but Todd Carney has the potential to become the Roosters Darren Lockyer. In his first year he has transformed a wooden spoon team into an NRL force, kudos to Brian Smith also, but you do need a superstar when your coaching an NRL team.Just look at Sticky he was lucky enough to have the great one, without Freddy he was just another coach.

Yeah, I won't say suck shit or anything because if Camp pulls his finger out, he's going to be a damned good player.

I think Carney has the same natural ability as the messiah.

Madduke I assume you mean Freddy. I agree. As Carney matures he is going to be something very special.

I really do feel sorry for you guys in relation to Carney as you had no other choice but to sack him. The best thing that happened to him was -

1 - You guys sacked him

2 - He couldn't get a visa to play overseas.

I think he thought it was all a bit of a joke when you guys said either sign here and obey the new clauses in your contract or get lost. He knew he could get a big contract overseas so he thought he'd see if you were bluffing. When you proved you weren't he just went to plan B. When that was taken away from him, the proverbial hit the fan and he realised he was on his last chance. That has forced him to realise that he's a very lucky young man and that he needed to start taking responsibility for his actions.

After 31 criminal offences we tossed him. He fell out with the Raiders 'No Dickhead' policy that also gave Bronx Goodwin & Sam Huihahou (now Latu) the flick.

Seems to have fit in well at the Roosters though

Always remember, the Eastern Suburbs is where the first fleet landed. Full of crims back in 1788 and nothing has changed.
