  • CUA, Skilled or SFS?

    That's our options right now.

It wouldn't be too bad if we lost against NQ and ended up playing the Tigers at "home".

Now it's a dead rubber (had plenty of those in my time) I think "throwing" the game would not be a bad idea.

We can't go lower than 6th and don't want any injuries.

If we lose and Manly win, will go 7th.

          Hold on.

If we lose and Manly win we will go down to 7th.

We need to win tomorrow and have to finish as high up the ladder as possible.

If we lose (by more than 34) and Manly win we go to 8th. Surely that can't happen but I remember this exact weekend last year that we can't lose when we're up by 16 at half time...

Something tells me I'd rather see us playing GC at Skilled than any other scenario.

Yep, finishing to play the toothless Tigers at SFS is the ideal result even throwing the game away. Didn't we do this last year v Cowboys?
I betta get some cash on the Cowboys. I should try and get some odds from Tandy

Regardless of the opponents, the best result for the Roosters is to win, win handsomely, and come fifth.

Ignore the opponents. 5th is a lot better than 7th.

The Titans don't have much left IMO, Tigpies have plenty and Penrith at CUA is a bit of an unknown.....Titans on the Gold Coast for me.

                    4 Tigers vs 5 Roosters, I reckon.

Tigers are locked into second place so that can't be the case.

Actually, I got it wrong too. tigpies could finish 3rd if the pennies win.
Best the Roosters can finish is 5th now so no home semi in the strict sense.

Tigers are 3rd for sure now as long as Penrith beat the Sharks. I think we can beat the titans at Skilled, and maybe even get the week off,............. its possible two of the top 3 teams could lose. The Raiders could beat the Dragons, Warriors could win and so could manly.
