  • Wests Tigers to play home final at SFS

    http://www.smh.com.au/rugby-league/l...902-14r1b.html

Well it looks like the chooks will be most likely playing the first final at the SFS if:

-If the titans win tigers most likely will finish in 4th, with us finishing in 5th. So it will be tigers vs chooks at SFS.

-If tigers win then the titans will drop below us and we will get an SFS final.

All this is if penrith beat the sharks and we beat the cowboys by more than the warriors beat parra.

An away game would be tough, especially in penrith or new zealand. Lets hope the results go our way!

    up the chooks!

tigers at sfs being the most likely scenario is not half bad. we seem to have their meausre this year. in saying that they have been red hot recently.

Apparently, part of the deal is that each Tigers season ticket holder is entitled to purchase up to 10 tickets for their first home final.
SFS capacity = 45,000. If we did play them week 1, we would be massively outnumbered.

We still get the benefit of playing at a familiar stadium

              Very true.

Ironically, if Wests took their game to Leichhardt, there would almost certainly be a higher proportion of Roosters supporters there than at an SFS game.

If we can't get a home final, playing the tigers is the next best option !

Tigers are down a few troops. I wouldn't mind playing them, week 1.

I liked the way Braith handled it when asked about the situation......Would make them sit back and have a look at themselves for being paranoid and petty little sooks...

Either way, it may seem we will play at the SFS on the first week the way the Tigers are playing with the Titans.
