Anasta was just saying on NRL Tactics that Mini is virtually no chance to play this weekend and infact has no idea when he will be likely to be back, hopefully this is not a back related hamstring problem as it could be a serious problem for not only Mini but our finals campaign.

on a side note i'm not a big fan of Anasta coming out in the media and discussing our teams injury situation, i'm sure Smith wouldn't want the rest of the league to know that Mini has a potentially serious problem again, its not the first time Anasta has let something out of the bag he also told the world about the Lama Tasi signing when he himself hadn't told Manly he was leaving yet.

I was sure I read this week that he was going to miss the next two weeks.
Hopefully Linnett is available even though he wasn't named for first grade or Newtown otherwise who else can they promote who has already played this year? Pez to fullback, Symonds/Maubs to centre and BJ to the wing. Assuming Ford is also out injured.

Here we go again - he'll be back in "two weeks"!!
The four muscles of the posterior thigh (semitendinosus, semimembranosus, biceps femoris long & short head) flex (bend) the knee, while three of the four extend (straighten) the hip. The three 'true' hamstrings cross both the hip and the knee joint and are therefore involved in knee flexion and hip extension. The short head of the biceps femoris crosses only one joint (knee) and is therefore not involved in hip extension. With its divergent origin and innervation it is sometimes excluded from the 'hamstring' characterization
