  • Next week...

Well I can't go into all calculations, but assuming that Titans lose to Tigers on Friday night...

Titans lose, Roosters win, Warriors win (by lesser margin than Roosters win)

    4. Roosters 32
    5. Warriors 32
    6. Titans 32

Titans lose, Roosters win, Warriors win (by greater margin than Roosters win)

    4. Warriors 32
    5. Roosters 32
    6. Titans 32

Titans lose, Roosters win, Warriors lose

    4. Roosters 32
    5. Titans 32
    6. Warriors 30

Titans lose, Roosters lose, Warriors win, Manly lose

    4. Warriors 32
    5. Titans 32
    6. Roosters 30
    7. Manly 28

Titans lose, Roosters lose, Warriors win, Manly win

    4. Warriors 32
    5. Titans 32
    6. Manly 30
    7. Roosters 30

Titans lose, Roosters lose, Warriors lose, Manly win

    4. Titans 32
    5. Manly 30
    6. Roosters/Warriors 30
    7. Roosters/Warriors 30

In summation - we want Tigers to beat Titans, Eels to beat Warriors (or at least Warriors to win by less than us), and we want to win. This happens, and we will finish fourth.

I really think that is a real possibility although i don't like the fact that we would have to play NZ in the first week whether it's at the SFS or in NZ.

I think Parra can do us a big favour, that won't be an easy game for NZ. Will the Tigers play us at the SFS if we have to play them?

Wherever we finish, the 1st week of the finals is sudden death. As you saw last year even finishing 4th or 5th doesn't guarantee safety.

On the other hand if we finish 4th or 5th and win I think we have a good shot of getting the week off.

Very big chance of playing a qualifying final outside of Sydney.

Titans, Panthers, and Roosters will win. We'll play the Tigers at the SFS.

True if the Titans win by 10 and the Roosters win by more than Auckland.

All this maths is too confusing

Or if the Titans win by less than 10 and Auckland wins by more than the Roosters.

                ... or something like that

All I can say is that I would much prefer the Roosters not having to play the worriers in NZ.

If we finish 4th (Titans lose, Roosters win, Warriors either lose or win by a lesser margin than us) then we will probabl play Warrior or Manly at our home.

We have already beaten them three times.

So we are due for a loss......we need to bash them out of the park.

Fingers crossed that things work out to our satisfaction. Go Roosters!
