Discount For Away Games???

Can anyone help me here please.

I took my family to the sharks game and presented my season tickets expecting a discount and was told they don't give discounts for the sharks games. Is this correct??

I thought being a season ticket holder allows you discounts for away games.

Should I take this up with marketing or were they right?

No club is obliged to offer any discount anymore.

Sometimes there are good discounts - e.g. this year the 'Travelling Rooster' membership cost $25 and got you into the Souths and Canterbury games at Homebush and Newcastle at Gosford; Penrith offered a fairly small 20% discount - but there is no arrangement, like the old $8 away member tickets, anymore. From memory, Campbelltown, Canberra, Melbourne and Parra offered no discount.

The offer Cronulla made last night was a reserved seat for the price of a GA seat for Roosters season ticket holders. So a reserved adult seat on the 10m line in a bay of other Roosters members for $20, which is an okay offer, but irrelevant for the vast majority of travelling fans who sat in GA anyway.
