  • Forget about finals....

We should have beaten them by 30. 5 bombed tries in the first 25 minutes.

I think we believe we are the globetrotters. Way to much sideways movement and no straightening of the attack

    WTF?

The Roosters have been the best team to watch over the entire season.

You had a short back up from the Dragons and it was a tough game that I thought The Roosters squandered plenty of early opportunity to cement a win and still remained in it and could well have won even in the final minutes.

On paper, losing to The Sharks may seem bad but it's better to get that kick up the arse now than in the finals.

As for the globetrotters comment, that's exactly how Parra played tonight and they dominated The Horseheads.

Relax bro, The Roosters are in good shape.
    lol@stmerge, 1 premiership and a claytons!!!!

May be good to watch but playing like that doesnt win finals games. We are not doing the hard yards first. Against the Broncos our forwards were steamrolling which is why we were scoring points. Seems now we are so keen to go wide we forget to roll the sleeves up first

Yes Dolphin it was a game we should of won and won easily. But I keep asking the question, aside from the merge who is going any better than us?

This comp is wide open, as long as the players haven't lost any confidence we will be ok.

Mate we are meant to be the best attacking side in the comp but aside from 3 minutes of the game couldnt score a point. We arent travelling nearly as well as everyone things.

I agree, it was always going to be a big ask backing up after that big Sunday clash. That on the back of a big month of physical games. I feel if we had Mitch Aubs out there he would have sliced through the line as he seems to do. Not panicing just yet.

Either one of those disallowed tries to Perrett or Carney get allowed and we go on to win.

I lay the blame on the criminally incompetent referees and Sean Hampstead in particular.

We are one the of the best attacking sides, if we didn't drop the ball over the line 3-4 times we would of lead at halftime by 20. That can happen on a bad night.

I agree maybe we aren't travelling as well as everyone thinks but I say again who is? The standard isn't great as long as the boys don't lose confidence we still have a great chance this year.

Perhaps not travelling as well as you thought. Think you like many got a little excited after a few wins... most of which we were lucky to get away with.

The side that took Parra to school is the side we need... problem is the team is young, inexperienced... or at least inexperienced at playing consistent football.

I'm happy we are competing this year. We will make the finals, and with a bit of luck could go a long way but I don't expect them to win the comp... whilst obviously I would be disappointed if we don't go deep into the finals, I certainly wouldn't think of it as the end of the world.

As I said... it's just great after last year to be able to have these discussions!
