I doubt the 17 he named today will resemble the final team that runs out friday, we are certainly too prop heavy with a bench having the 3 big boppers in Paea,Masoe,Kennedy.

very interesting that Kheirallah and Lowe haven't been named in any grade this week even though both got through 80 minutes in the NYC on the weekend, wouldn't surprise to see both make their first grade debuts this weekend, also will be very surprised if Guerra boards the plane to NZ with the jets on friday as he would be at least 18th/19th man for fridays match against the Sharkies.

If Smith was going to blood a youngster at this stage, he certainly wouldn't name him til the last minute. No point in giving the opposition coach a head up on where to plan his attack.

Kheirallah looked like he strained his hamstring again. Hughie Stanley has not been named either, I suspect he is on standby to play for Newtown again to
replace an outside back. I believe Jono Ford will be the 18th Man.
