I can't believe there hasn't been more said about how average Myles was yesterday. He didn't run or tackle with his usual vigour and came up with 6 missed tackles which is very un-Myles like.

The two instances that stood out for me were when we kicked off and (1) Weyman ran straight through us and (2) Costigan ran straight through us. Fortunately Costigan has a brain the size of a pea and got up to play the ball instead of taking off again.
That highlighted how buggered our forwards were - especially the props. Off a kick off is when you want to line up the opposition and smash them, but we couldn't even put them down.

Its funny, Ryles out for being an idiot on the field. But they sign Weyman who the season before he went to the dragons got suspended for 7 weeks for punching Conn in the face just after playing the ball!! Yes he is a great prop. but does just as many stupid things as Ryles was doing!!

Crucially, creagh's try was scored through myles and friend which was something I wouldn't have expected to see but I guess both were stuffed having made 42 and 46 tackles respectively."The price of freedom is eternal vigilance."

A Sharks supporter calling Ryles undisciplined. What a joke.
He should look a little closer to home and write a few home truths about Paul Gallen, the most ill disciplined and dirty player in the NRL, whose actions have caused the Sharks to lose plenty of games over the years.
Ryles is an angel compared to that filthy grub.

We lost because we had no ball control, and hence no field position.
We will learn from that.

I've got some stats lying around somewhere that show that gets penalised no more than any other starting prop.
He's a nightmare playing the ball, gives far too many penalties away in the ruck, either roughing up the player, like he did in this SCG game...or touching the ball under the player's chest...or stuffing up playing it himself.
And he drops the ball far too often as well.
