Carney would not have been allowed to play on if it was a serious concussion.

One area we need to improve is at dummy half. Friend needs to show some leadership and only allow the outside backs to make dummy half runs if there are easy metres to be made. We wasted many tackles in that area today.

We can only hope. But even with a mild concussion the reccomended time for recovery is around 7-10 days. Stupid short game turn around.

          Fingers crossed.

Don't worry, I banged my head against the wall many times after losses last year and I kept backing up the next week.

Carney will be fine to play next week

Watched from the MA Noble today so was looking downfield. Our markers are NEVER square. We gave away some dumb penalties. There was a lot to like about the way we hung on.

He wasn't in big time pain. I saw him putting his thumb in the rib area. I'm no medical expert, but he looked fine. I did see some serious passion from Ryles when he held Soward down by the head gear, but then pushed his face into the ground which we suffered a penalty.

Sowards crap goal kicking helped us out.

I wanted to ryles to put his head further in the ground !

Someone on here has already pointed that there may have been a bite involved to get that reaction.

That would go some way to explaining Ryles' brain snap given it was the fifth tackle.

Why am I not surprised? I'm sure Soward is very familiar with biting.

Much like the one bite pizzas the club was serving last night.

sorry but have to remind that Anasta is now A FORWARD.
Could it be that having an invisible 13, sulking at the loss of 6, creates a weak pack when the going gets tough?
