The top bit could say just Syndey and where the 100 year logo says 100 years could say Roosters.

I'd make it a bit simpler and take out the background where it looks like the jerset and make it plain white of even a sky blue to reflect the war years.

Anyway, one idea we'll never see I'm sure.
The 100 years was a very nice logo. I was hoping they would replace the 100 years with Roosters, and make that our permanent logo

But in all seriousness... the locals in Campbelltown/Camden don't support the Tigers as a whole because most games are played at Leichhardt.

I personally live on the fringe of Easts/Souffs territory in the Sydney City council area (east end of the city) and think of the "east" tag as being more like Double Bay kind of thing.

I don't drive a Maserati and sit around sipping latte all day, but I also don't sit outside the housing commission drinking meffo. I know a lot of Roosters fans in my area (although go a little bit further South and you'll probably get bashed up if you're seen wearing a Roosters Jersey.)

No issues with people wearing Easts jerseys, but I'm a fan of the SYDNEY Roosters.

The locals in Campbelltown absolutely support Wests. The 2010 crowd figures speak for themselves: 19, 11 and 14 thousand at Leichardt as opposed to 19, 10 and 14 thousand at Campbelltown. Both of these numbers are down on their SFS crowds in 2010, which have been 19, 21, 19 and 18 thousand. I'm not sure what point you're trying to make, but the stats do not back it up. No one was arguing that Wests would benefit from more generic branding and dissociation from their suburban identity, but crowd figures suggest that the non-suburban games increase crowd figures.

And as far as talking about the latte set is concerned, I think that's a tag you are placing on the area rather than any widely held perception. Bondi Junction, Paddington, Randwick etc. is the heart of this club and its history and is made up of regular, non-latte sipping people. This club is Eastern Suburbs and always will be at its core.
