  • Fpn!!

I know everyone (including me) was in awe of the Carney and SKD briliance lastnight. But, I would just like to acknowledge the effort from our big guys, particulary - Frank Paul Nauuausala. I thought he had a craking game, launched himself at them all day and even made break and set up a try. Schweeeet!!!

It was noticeable when the Broncos hit the front that we got some excellent momentum off the back of some of his charges.

Don't stop with him. Our forwards are playing out of their skins.

Not to mention Friend. Made 42 tackles (next nearest was 24), played the full 80 and was everywhere! His service from dummy half was never questioned either. Even in the 74th minute when Linnett made the break down the field, Friend was there to scoop up the quick play the ball and offload to Carney. Tremendous effort

Ive just taken the paddles off him, and burnt the canoe. This guy is staying here...in my house if necessary!

I think FPN is a perfect illustration of the old adage that forwards take longer to mature into first graders. Linnett & BJ have looked comfortable from day 1, but I'm sure FPN has had some serious doubts in his own mind about whether he was truly a first grader. To make it even harder on him, he had to try and lead from the front last season in a team going nowhere. Now, with Ryles and Myles showing the way, he's settled into a Tupou type role, rather than the yardage man that Freddie tried to turn him into.

The other guy who I have massive hopes for is Mose. He's still very raw and I can see him developing into a great go forward man when he matures a bit more.

The ground he made and the dummy that lead to that try was unreal! What a player he's become.

100% agree! The best thing Smith has done this season, is ask the players where they prefer to play. SKD to the centres, and FPN/Aubusson to the backrow has worked wonders

As for Masoe! What an impact he has made this season

How funny has Sonic's bleating over at rleague.com been! He is so cut up about us going well and still can't bring himself to give us any credit at all.

He has given us credit, saying that Carney is the only reason we are doing well, and without Carney we would be nothing etc etc

Thats sonics poor attempt at a comeback after he was reminded several times about the truth regarding Souffs never doing well with a crap halfback like Sandow. He is a sad sad thing

He hasn't recovered after the loss we handed him.

I can picture him literally in tears afterwards.

Imagine him last night.....not wanting us to win, but then knowing that they needed us to win to stay in the 8! He wouldn't have known whether he was Arthur or Martha! Although I have a sneaking suspicion he could be both!

Poor Sonic, after SKD scored his 4th try, he didn't know whether to kick his dog or give him a biscuit!
