  • Leilua to fullback?

    Anybody ever thought about that?
We already have enough second rowers and centres.. After watching today i reckon he could be come a great fullback.

I would leave him in the Centres.. Perrett can always play fullback if Mini is not here next year.

For one of the rare times in the past few years, I actually saw a rooster threequarter run an angle onto a ball and into a gap, then actually set up a nice draw and pass to put Mini over for a try.
Leave him in the threequarters !

You really think we have enough centres??? SKD is going well and despite continuaing brain snaps, looks to have have one side nailed down. On the other side, we have Linnet who is a work in progress, Graham who is on the back end of his career and not setting the world on fire.

Leave him in the centres until his body matures and then put him in the second row which looks to be his natural position.

Kane Linnet looks like he's got the goods to become a good fullback also - lots of speed and a good swerve

Linnet is coming along nicely. Leave him in the centres/wing.

He is a big boy and suited to that position. His speed is handy too.

What ain't broke, don't try and fix.

BJ is playing out of his skin where he is. Mini finally doing a good job back at fullback with Carney at 5/8.

Our only thing that's broken is our right side defense but that won't change.

Mini is playing well at the back.. it's taken him a while, but he broke a lot of tackles yesterday, which is a good sign. BJ to FB in these circumstances? dont think so

Joseph/Joey/BJ is going great guns where he is which is amazing given he could still be playing NYC for this season and the next and the next. How in heaven did st merge let him go?

I wasn't liking the way he was holding onto the ball, but he had a great game.

Surely Mini has done enough to warrant one more year.

The pin ball was there yesterday.

Why would you put a budding second-rower at fullback..??

Yeh crazy stuff. BJ like Aubbo will be at his best in the backrow. He looks very promising.

For this season though I think Graham has to come back into the side. Our defence out wide was very poor. The misses by BJ and Linnett for the Dogs first and last try were ordinary. I think we need Graham's experience out wide, he has been good for us this season. Who goes out I'm not 100% sure.

Just looking at yesterday our left side defence of Anasta, Carney, BJ and Linnett will struggle if something isn't done.

I agree some really poor reads by BJ in particular imo - came rushing out of the line for no reason a few times - needs to be rectified as much as the right edge but stability and consistency in selections is the key
