  • Braith

Just a whole different player with the 13 on his back, even the haters can not deny last 2 games have been great from him.

For all the garbage he cops, week in week out, Braith Anasta would have to be one of the most impressive, professional footy players I've come across.

Go buy the DT, and have a read of Ricky Stuart's column (usually one of the few good reads in amongst the other crap). He talks about professionalism, especially in reference to Craig Fitzgibbon (and justifiably so). Well Braith, take your hat off, because you're a fantastic bloke (by all accounts), a talented footy player, and, at the moment, a jewel in the crown of this well-oiled team.

If he is happy to play lock, I'm happy to have him here much longer than 2011.

        Bravo.

I just hope we're still planning to keep him now that he's been moved to lock. We've got a lot of good backrowers... but Anasta is essential. The 3 pronged attack is awesome.

13 is definitley the best spot for him. I think most of us agree on that, and hopefully it's because he is fantastic there and is earning that spot rather than it being a solution because we want Carney at 6. Congrats to him for such a great performance in a milestone game! Just a bloody pity he couldn't have had THAT LEGIT TRY to make it that much better.

Now if only bumstuffer would come out and show himself...

Braith was, if not our best today, then he was certainly very close to our best today and is showing that he meant what he said to Freddy after the win against the vermin - "I'll do whatever is best for the team."

Well Braith, bravo on all fronts and especially for giving it to badger.

Braith was outstanding and showed why he should play at 13. With Carney at 6 and Pearce at 7 we have a mean attacking unit

Im not sure if he was best on field, but he had a massive game, certainly a captains knock, who led from the front. The way he hit that hole on the "forward" pass in the first half, i hope to see alot more of that in the coming weeks.

That was a beautiful pass and a lovely bit of play and yes, something I'd like to see more of in future.

                        Bravo LEVENDI Braith.

Hope your mum gets better in her battle with cancer. Having recently lost my mum from cancer, I know how hard he would be doing it at the moment.

We said mate. I also thought Stuart's article was spot on.

Given the personal year Anasta has had, you can understand how his form was down at the start of the year. Its easy to sit behind a keyboard and judge, but when you hear stories about Anasta's mum and Sammy's bub, you realise there is more than what you see on the field.
