  • What a RIP-OFF !

$33 for General Admission at Canberra Stadium. What a rip-off.

    .... and $5.50 for a coffee!

And I thought $28 at SFS was steep. No wonder they only got around 10,000 at the game.

At least it was a nice 3 hour drive home after the game, always helps when we win. The boys did well, especially the forwards. Even SKiDmark did ok.

    Crikey.

i didn't go, but when i saw the prices on the ticketek web site, i had to look twice !!!!

This is a perfect example of clubs choosing the simple option to raise revenue. Rather than hard work with "selling" the club and games to the fans.

i am not saying that tickets to our games are the easiest to move, nor am i saying they need to sell out.

What i am saying is there needs to be some sell of the game to attract more to come to roosters games....

In marketing, it is all about the sizzle not all about the steak. If the club is made to look good then people are attracted to it.

Ouch that is steep, when i went to the game down there in 2005 it was only $18,last year it was $28,that has seemed to go up quicker than the inflation rate.
Was parking still $5 ? the Moore Park trust could learn something from them in that area.

We bought our tickets from the club in the bay reserved for Chooks fans who got the bus down. Cost $20 which was okay.

Still a huge ripoff compared to the $8 tickets members used to get at away games, which has unofficially been phased out it seems.

My two tickets to the 74 Grand Final cost me five bucks each over the counter at North Sydney Leagues. Ahh ... young Elizabeth .. that was my first date ever. Damm the bastard behind me who took a leak on the Hill .. I never saw Elizabeth again.
