If they wanna break this damn W/L/W/L crap then they need to fire up big time- and there is no better club to get them worked up then vermin. Don't expect any favours from the reffs or them to stuff up just SMASH EM, keep doing it and for god's sake if you get ahead hold onto the damn lead!
You know, I hope that W/L/W/L thing is gone since we were a finger nail from being 3 on the trot. I know Braith is desperate for consecutive victories

I would give an arm to beat the Wabbits. My hate for them runs deeper than my love for the Chooks.

I certainly ****ing hope so. It's time to shake off this WLWL trend.

Agree...if we break that farking cycle this season could really go places.

If not we're looking at another 05

Be a good game, but with pearce returning to give us direction and steadiness i think we will win (1-Mini, 6-Carney, 13-Anasta)

Thats roosters @ $4 1-12 looks very tempting

the Canberra win was a very good effort

              we can certainly win

that said, Souths are entitled to favouritism

Will be a tough ask to back up from Sunday. Souffs will be fresh.

The forwards used up plenty of petrol defending and then coming out of their own half for most of the game.

Souffs may not necessarily have the advantage by coming off the bye. How many times in the past have we seen teams coming off the bye come out very flat the next game and get beaten.

Having said that, our short turn around is a worry and will be tough.

                  Go Chooks!!

i think we have 'turned the corner'.
This week is the litmus test. Beat the Vermin and they'll kick on to chase a top 4 spot.
I also think Anasta will be great on the blindside, as long as it's the side that he can pass! (right to left I think). In my dreams I'm seeing FPN short off Anasta causing havoc.

I'm hoping we've turned the corner too. The past three games we've been pretty good. Its the first signs of consistency from us since 2008.

Would love to see Anasta transform his game into something similar to what Jim Dymock and Jason Smith played in the 90s.

No, we were consistently bad last year!

management hasn't helped by shifting home games and causing the team to really cover the km's recently.

                                our last six matches

                                Central Coast
                                Gold Coast
                                Sydney
                                Melbourne
                                Christchurch
                                Canberra

unfortunately we might be a bit battered and bruised to match a refreshed vermin outfit, its dissapointing to see a few injuries starting to creep back into the squad after nearly having everyone to choose from apart from Cherro recently.
