You're right about Myles but it's a lot more demanding in the front row, he wont last nearly as many minutes as he has been doing so well for us recently. I think he's wasted there.

As for FPN well his best game came last week when he took over Nate's role and played in tight.

mate, Pyles has played in the middle the whole season. I don't think much will change at all.


I hope Carney will play direct like he did in the trials. I also hope he is up to it defensively, so far this year he had been found out in the line quite often.

Top side, probably the best we can field at the moment, except I'm disappointed to see no Symonds and Conn.

I like the balance though, I really do. I still think a Jones/Watts style player off the bench is better than Koops.

Symonds is unlucky, but I thought BJ Leilua offered more against Melbourne. He had some very classy touches and looked dangerous.

However I can't see the justification in dropping a member of a performing forward pack to accommodate an inconsistent backline.

Well we can always see how it goes. If someone in the backline flunks out, in particular SKD and Linnett who have the jury out on them still, Leilua can always slot into the centres and Symonds onto the bench.

The biggest loser in the Anasta > lock move was Conn. The shift means Nate slots into the prop rotation, which is where Conn was. He is very unfortunate to miss out - one of my favourite players so far this season.

I would be happy with that side if Koups is dropped for either Conn or Symonds.
The rest is good,our team is taking shape..
Hopefully next year they release Anasta(pay him out) and everything starts falling into place.

I think everyone would agree that Carney is our best option at 6. My problem is with Anasta in the pack it will ruin the balance in our team. First of all our problem this season has been defence. Having Anasta and Carney defending in the front line can only weaken us there.

How will Anasta be used in attack?. Will he be on an edge?

Also Myles, FPN and Maubs can all play 80 and are capable of making 30 tackles and 120 metres. Is Anasta capable of that?

I understand the decision I just think it makes us weaker.
