Don't know about that.. Peter Doust apparently said they want him but probably won't be able to fit him in their cap and is resigned to the fact he will end up at another NRL club.

The Dragons can only fit Gasnier into a second-tier cap designed for players outside the top 25 squad at each club - but his contract will be dramatically upgraded to around $400,000 in 2011 and $550,000 in 2012 with the possible addition of third-party payments.

There'd have to be a cleanout at this year end to accomodate him going forward.
A few Dragqueens looking over their shoulders, or very worried if coming off contract at the end of 2010.

My mail is he hasn't signed as yet and is trying to get out of release condition he has with St George that says he can't play with any other NRL club untill 2012.

he was all set to come to the roosters several years ago. unfortunately an obstacle came in the way at the very last second otherwise we would have been enjoying his talents in our colours for years now rather than the crap we have had to put up with.
