Realistically though, this team is not going anywhere without Pearce.

I'd like to see how that team would perform. Kane Linnett deserves a chance as he has been great at Newtown and so does BJ Leilua who was devastating in the NYC game although he came off injured pretty early. Phil Graham needs to play in the centres as that's where he has been most effective for us. Fine Moeakiola was also great in the NYC game tonight so I'd like to see him get a run. Nick Kouparitsis and Shaun Kenny-Dowall should go back to Newtown. With Mitchell Pearce out, someone like Liam Foran knows how to lead the team around the park and that's what we lack at the moment - direction. Todd Carney would be most effective playing a bit wider in the 6 jumper. Braith Anasta to 13 gives us a ball playing option in the pack and Wearea-Hargreaves off the bench would certainly give us some good impact. We need Tom Symonds in the team so we can exploit the gaps on the fringes of the ruck.

Does anybody else have ideas of what the team should look like next week? Plenty on here are calling for an injection of youth but there's only a few IMO that are ready to step up.

centre is the most obvious problem at the moment, it must be about time Linnett/Williamson/Leilua(depending on injury) are given a shot.

Mini has been ordinary to absolute shite all year - we need a poll. Who was worse - the refs or Mini? I vote for a tie.

I know we were shite but this forum has given it to the refs at times when we have been even worse onfield. We didn't get a single 50-50 or even a 60-40 I think. The Williams & 2nd Tonga (?) were absolute shockers & killed any momentum we may have been picking up. Also they were offside plenty & got away with slowing the PTB. It was like the team simply decided tonite's not our nite let's just lie down.

Sorry mate, I don't agree with Perrett, he should be nowhere near our first grade team. He is a liability in every sense of the word, can't catch, can't tackle, can't run faster than Luke Covell on crutches, can't do anything except run from dummy half.
