All I was saying was that I hope Anasta will be at Henson Park soon.. I know that he won't be.. Best case England at the end of this season.

I just want to recognise how great Myles was today. This guy bleeds for his team, the courage he displayed should be an inspiration to the rest.
We are very fortunate to have Myles, JWH & Ryles in the pack. Hopefully JWH will be our future Morely.

I also like the way guys like Perrett go looking for the ball, I wish Graham would do the same, he seems a bit quiet. I also think that game shows that Pearce is missed badly.

We scored 2... and the often-praised attack of the Tigers only scored 1.
Why do you confuse me so?

They were ranked 5th (us) & 9th (them) in attack after today. I heard we led the league in line breaks for the season last week. I think that means we can score a try.

St George 38 - Cronulla nil. Tell me who has no attack again. Its a shame Melbourne will get the spoon, because Cronulla thoroughly deserve it. And long time coming too. Useless carnts.

He is better coming off the bench. Doesn't provide much in attack when he starts, but seems to give us some impact off the bench. His best games this season have been off the bench

Frustrating game to watch because of the number of mistakes early.

I thought our defense against one of the best attacking teams in the comp was outstanding. The commitment was 10 out of 10 especially by the senior players. There has been enough said about Nate and it's all true he is a new man and I am glad I don't run the club as I would have punted him last year.

Mini showed signs of turning his form around and is slowly getting his timing back. I think we will see the pinball wizard breaking tackles very soon. Sam and SKD were also solid against their more fancied opponents.

Maubs has been the same every week, great defense and looking dangerous around the fringes.

I must say again this week I didn't notice how much work Ryles did until I watched the replay

Jones and Graham as all pointed out in the days leading up were our weakness in defense and they were great in defense all game.

Hopefully some lessons from the game.

                - Start with Ryles and JWH. Also avoids long periods with the two coconuts on together.

                - Mini far better option at fullback than on the wing and far better option than Carney. He will get better at fullback faster than Carney will.

                - Get Mescia working with Friend and get him fit ASAP. Had a great game first up.

                - Smithy don't wait until half time to get a rocket up 'em. The bus will be a good start.

I really hope Ryles can stay injury free. He is just getting warmed up for the occasion and will make a huge impact as the season unfolds. what an asture purchase he was.

I thought Anasta had a good game yesterday. He cops a lot of criticism but I still think he is a good player. Although I'd still like to see him at lock by any chance if Nate Myles doesn't play there for whatever reason. Jason Ryles is getting better each week and is starting to show some good form. It was a tough win and if it were last season, we would have got flogged by 40. Good to see we can grind out a win.
