Interesting to see that there's no #16 named in the NYC side. The same thing happened last week and it was Jones who occupied the #16 jumper for the NYC side. Could the same thing happen again this week? Maybe I'm reading too much into it.

Jones has been screwed around by Smith so much this year, to name him and not play him at this stage would be plain cruel.

Don't judge him though as a little fella, judge him as a first grader, in this case a first grade centre..

Mini at fullback is a worse call than Jones at centre, Mini's game looks 2 seasons behind, love the bloke but he will be shown up worse than carney in the 1.

It was a great time to blood williamson or Linnett in the centres, once again our player of the year perrett is left out of position, we are sorely missing his kick returns, i would have put JOnes at half, carney to 5/8 and Anasta to lock.

The little rangariginies only bad game was against the Dogs this season and the list of pathetic performances that day was very long indeed. I would have pushed him to hooker and brought Carney to 7.

Mini is a worry but he deserves the chance IMO - I keep hoping that like Mullo's did in 2002 when he really started to hit form about the middle of the year. It's tough to write off champions as you know but he has earned the right IMO
