There is one thing I can't understand - why aren't some Jets being called upon to get the Roosters through this injury cluster?
Jason Wells went to Manly about 3 years ago, and wasn't able to break through in their back row. He is still young, so he may still come good.

As a junior though, he showed lots of potential.

I can't see Guerra or Kennedy spending much time at Newtown at all.

Jaubs is a maybe.. I don't see that Friend offers anything more than Jaubs does.

The rest.. don't see the value in keeping..
WHat about DANIEL CONN, this guy works hard, makes good takcles, solid ion defence. I will keep him over the rest of the list.

Aiden Guerra has been great for us and I don't see him moving back to Newtown anytime soon. He is a tough player and he does a fair bit of work around the field as well. I hope he stays in the 17 when we get all our players back.

Mateo, Inu and Grothe are off-contract and available.

Grothe is rubbish, he is bumbling and makes too many silly errors. I wouldn't mind Mateo, but then we might have the issue of too many cooks spoiling the broth - Carney, Anasta, Pearce, Jorbs, Mateo all on the field, plus former five-eighths Tom Symonds and Mitch Aubusson as skillful ballplaying backrowers on each fringe = a bit too much going on.

Inu, I would definitely consider. He could replace Minichiello, and we could move Graham out onto the wing.

              Carney
              Perrett
              Kenny-Dowall
              Inu
              Graham

That is a Ferrari backline, plenty of pace, 3 NZ internationals too.

I'd definitely consider Krisnan Inu as well. He is an outcast in the Parramatta backline and he would add another dimension to our team IMO. He could be our X-factor out in the centres. Do you by any chance have any idea of Michael Gordon's contract status?

Inu is a lazy player. Considering he is playing for contract at Parra he still looks disinterested.

I wouldn't want him unless he comes relatively cheap( which he won't)

SKiD can run, when he gets going he motors. Carney is surprisingly quick for a little bloke, same goes for Perrett. And we all know Graham has gas.

In anticipating Braith's eventual departure from the club, around the end of next year, and Carney's move to 5/8, I'd be having a good look at Josh Dugan. He's off contract come 2011, and this kid is an amazing talent. He has everything, and has an extraordinarily cool head for a young bloke. If we were to snare him and Inu, and Mini and Braith left, take a look at this backline:

                      1. Dugan
                      2. Perrett
                      3. Graham
                      4. SKD
                      5. Inu
                      6. Carney
                      7. Pearce

                      That's a pretty dangerous 1-7.

Also, if possible, the club should go for Michael Jennings. I know we have a reputation for buying big name players and turning them into duds, but you don't lose raw speed and acceleration with a club transfer. Jennings would transform our team entirely. He, Carney and Pearce would rip teams to shreds by themselves.

That's not happening whilst there's a salary cap around.

I dunno, Braith would be on a fair bit.
