I don't know about you guys but Anasta to me looks slow and should be locking the scrum and becoming a ball runner rather than a ball player. He is a much better player when he takes the line on.
Smithy should put carney at 6 and Perret at fullback, Mini has slowed up and should be kept on the wing.

Carney is dreadful in defence, but that was always expected, he'll improve. His attack is not hindered by being back there, in fact it improves as he can pick his touches. I see him sniffing around the ruck for offloads - something that Perret has never done.
You guys are making out that the only step to success is if Carney touches the ball 3 times each set. It doesn't work like that.

As for putting Jones outside his player for his try - you'll find that Jones used his footwork to get onto the outside of Turner. There was nothing doing prior to that. Carney did not do anything of note with that.

Anasta threw an intercept, whoopty do. Mitch threw the ball into Kennedy's head. I know which one i classify as worse as they both lead to tries.

An interesting fact from the weekend. Anasta was the only Roosters player to have 0 missed tackles.
I am not 100% sure regarding who should play where, but I believe 100% that Pearce, Carney and Anasta should be in the run on team.
