    A theory about yesterday

    Since everybody has a theory as to why we were flogged yesterday I'll give you mine. After our great start in the first 2 rounds, Mr Steggle told the team not to win yesterday, considering his pledge to donate $1000 for every point we win by. Just a thought.

      Actually i reckon it was Smith who did it. The players were on too much of a high and he only trained them lightly so they'd get a bit of a hiding to bring them back down to earth. Wouldnt surprise me actually.

        Yeah but they could've lost by only a couple and not 40+ to make the sponsor happy.

        Our losing margins do not take away from the $$'s from the winning margins ....so they could've lost by just a couple and got the same result ....and saved us all the embarrassment !

          Maybe they should have had a clause in the contract, for every point the roosters lose by $1000 would be taken back................currently we would owe steggles !
