      NOOOOOOOOOOOO

That would mean we would have to get rid of some other backrowers and I like the direction in which we are going in that department. We have JWH, Symonds, Cherro, Maubs, Guerra, Myles... All great players without being superstars. We don't need his ego in our team.

We'd have to shed about 5 players to afford ScummyBill and the figures just don't add up, as we'd have to pay out some of their contracts as well.

Unless ScummyBill still hankers after playing for the Blue and White and is prepared to accept a second tier Newtown contract. And there is more chances of Benny Hannant getting pissed and setting Todd Carney's backside alight than that happening.

Lima a maybe for 2011. Scummy Bill no chance.

I don't want him anywhere near the club...we have the makings of some great young players coming through with dreams of winning premierships and earning good money...manage it right and they can all share the spoils and you'll have a champion team working for each other and prepared to earn a little less based on the fact they are playing with a bunch of players they know can have a real crack at winning a GF...

Money Bill will spoil everything and also cause this young guys to lose faith if they see him waltz straight in and claim a huge chunk of the cash available to share amongst the players...

It won't happen and I have faith in the management to see the future lies with this great young team we are seeing develop...

Mate he will spend more than half the time on the sideline and swallow up a lot of cash...he's not worth losing good young players we might see mane more years of service from and many more games as well...

SBW is going to Union in NZ and will try and chase an All-Black contract.

                      All this is bullshit speculation.

The roosters management realise that they have their hands full with current players coming off a shady past, and SBW would be just too much to bear. It goes against everything they are trying to portray to the NRL and the public.

                      Don't buy into it.

Excellent post Foghorn and you've hit all the things I would have said.
No Easts - no to SBW, no to Lima, yes to those already at the club.

He maybe a money hungry ex bulldog, but can you imagine the damage that SBW and JWH could inflict.
